BYSQ Exclusive: Sharman Joshi, in and as ‘Raju, Raja, Ram aur Main’.

Mumbai to Melbourne: Sharman Joshi chats up with BYSQ and shares his excitement of unfolding his latest theater drama production ‘Raju, Raja, Ram Aur Main’, Australia wide.

Our favourite Raju Rastogi from 3 Idiots gave Australia a recent visit in as ‘Raju’ yet again, to showcase a laughter riot theatre play called ‘Raju, Raja, Ram Aur Main’. The phenomenal twist that he brings along is that the four main title characters are played by our Comedy Mogul Sharman Joshi himself.  So before he performed and left our Aussie audience in a rib tickling, thrilling and thunder storm crazy stage play, BYSQ had a gossipy chat with Sharman as he unveils his love for & challenge of playing & multi-tasking between four characters in a live stage performance and his inspiration to graduate from a theatre to a film talent.

About the play:

Madan Sukhnandani, an industrialist catches his second wife red-handed with her lover. The lover is none other than Sukhnandani’s PA. With tempers running high, the husband falls prey to the cheating wife and he gets murdered. While the corpse is hidden, an imposter is brought in to get the property willed to the wife. But this plan also falls flat. Sukhnandani has several undated wills in circulation, and which are in the possession of his daughter and other relatives. As many as three lookalikes of Sukhnandani appear on the scene. Confusion ensues but justice is done ultimately. This is a revived Hindi version of the popular Marathi play SAHI RE SAHI.
